my food journal

maintaining my weight has always been a struggle. it's been a difficult battle since i was in high school. i don't know if this blog will evolve into something great but for now this is my food journal.

breakfast
8 oz florida's natural grapefruit juice (100 calories)
1 nutri grain cereal bar - apple (140 calories)

snack
1 cup fruit naturals grapefruit cup (120 calories)

lunch
peanut butter sandwich (250 calories)

i'll try to go jogging at least one mile today and follow my weights program. i can't believe that a peanut butter sandwich has 250 calories! and that's without the sweet stuff. i usually put maple syrup or jelly with my pb. yowza! it's only 1:00pm so i'll probably end up snacking later, i should've brought some prunes. note to self, bring prunes tomorrow.

i was on the south beach diet for a few months. that made me lose 15 lbs, but now i'm at a plateau. and it's tough maintaining that diet, i think it's too restrictive. white rice is a no no when you're on a south beach diet. but i love rice! as a true pinoy, white rice is a necessity in my diet. i think i can still eat white rice as long as i keep it in moderation. i hope i could lose 15 more lbs by the end of this year. and as a reward, once i reach that goal, i'm going to buy myself this lovely purse from coach.
